How do I open PDF files on a MAC in Blackboard? Install the Schubert plug-in for educational use. Browsers supported are Safari and Firefox (version 9.0.1 or above).
How do I open PDF files on a PC in Blackboard? Install the latest version of Adobe Reader . Browsers supported are Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, and Chrome.
Why don't all of my courses appear?
Are the courses listed in your Web Advisor course list? If yes, proceed to the next question. If no, contact the registrar at 714-997-6701 or email registrar@chapman.edu.
How long ago did you register? If it was within the 24 hours Blackboard will update itself automatically overnight. In the meantime you can access the course as a guest. Click on the courses tab above at the top of this screen and search for the course by: course number or instructor name.
If its been more than 24 hours contact the IS&T Service Desk at servicedesk@chapman.edu, or call 714-997-6600.
When are courses available? Blackboard courses are generally available 2 weeks before a semester or session starts until approximately 2 weeks after the session or semester ends.
Blackboard use by instructors is optional. Some instructors choose not to use Blackboard and turn their course sites off. Check with your instructors to find out if they are using Blackboard.
What is inside a course? Contact your instructor for information about content in your course.

How do I print in Blackboard? Printing in Blackboard through the browser can sometimes be a problem. It is often easier to download the document and save it to your hard drive and then print. To download a document go to its link. Right-click on the link and choose save target as and save it to your hard drive. Then open it and print it.
How to clear auto complete or remember passwords? Open Explorer > Tools > Internet Options > Content Tab > Auto Complete > Settings > User names and passwords on forms. Close and re-open Explorer. That should do it. Make sure you uncheck remember login and passwords on the login window.
