
The Chapman University Help Desk provides an in-depth resource to facilitate an efficient resolution to computing problems in a friendly, approachable manner.
As IT Professionals, we continually strive to educate our customers and ourselves in order to deliver a quality computing environment.
The Chapman Help Desk provides telephone support to faculty, staff and students. We also provide service for students to walk-in to receive help with connectivity from the internet to Chapman's network and web services. Also, starting Fall 2007 there will be a fee-based carry-in repair service to provide support on personally owned computers. Click here for a list of our services.
The Help Desk and Computer Lab Support is located in the basement of Leatherby Library. The Leatherby Library Computer Labs are open during the following hours and we provide support during the following hours as well:
FALL AND SPRING SEMESTERS Monday to Thursday: 7:30am to 11:00pm Friday: 7:30am to 5:00pm Saturday: Closed Sunday: Noon to 11:00pm
SUMMER Monday to Thursday: 8:00am to 7:00pm Friday: 8:00am to 5:00pm Saturday: Closed Sunday: Closed
INTERTERM Monday to Friday: 8:00am to 9:00pm Saturday: Closed Sunday: Closed
Please note: Full Time Help Desk Staff will not be available after 5:00pm. After this time, computers may not be taken in overnight. Also, if you need to pick up your computer, you must return the following day during the hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday. If you need a user name/password lookup or reset, you may come back to the Help Desk or call the Help Desk phone number during the hours of 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday. User name/password lookups and resets can only be done during 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday as it must be completed by a full time staff member.
