Datatel 101 "Intro to Datatel" No Prerequesites Required - self-paced, online training This class is required before any other Datatel classes can be taken. The user will learn about: · Family Education Rights to Privacy Act (FERPA) - what is it? · How to log on and navigate in Datatel. · How to prevent creating duplicates and who to contact if one is found. · How to fill in the Name and Address (NAE) screen. · How to add and change addresses. Admission 101A "Prospects" (prerequisite: Datatel 101) - 1 day The user will learn how to: · Receive and enter prospect information · Enter communication codes · Update prospect records · Input contact from prospects · Enter prospect remarks · Cancel a prospect · Indentify and follow up with online prospects · Look up Information Session RSVPs in the Liquid Matrix Console · Code Information Session attendees Any questions? Advising 101G "Resources for Graduate Advisement" (prerequesite: Datatel 101, suggested: Reg 101) - 1 day: Presents Datatel and WebAdvisor tools and resources to aid the graduate advisor in the presentation and access of student academic information. Covers degree audit (program evaluation), comprehensive examination information and clearance, faculty and student access to WebAdvisor, exam score tracking, and access to student address, transcript, and other basic information.
