Disciples on Campus Partner Church Program Information and Ways to Get Involved
The goal of Chapman University's PARTNER CHURCH PROGRAM is to create and build significant relationships between Chapman's Disciples on Campus students and Disciples and UCC churches in Northern California, Southern California, Nevada, and Arizona.
PARTNER CHURCH COMMITMENTS
- Contribute as a church to the Disciples on Campus (DOC) Scholarship Fund through the Office of Church Relations. These annual gifts range from $150-$5000, a minimum of $250 is suggested. Often groups within churches (outreach ministries, women's and men's groups, etc.) assume key roles in this program. This is an intentional gift above and beyond other support to Chapman.
- Share the monthly Partner Church Newsletter.
- If you request a visit, host the DOC student during the visit.
CHAPMAN CHURCH RELATIONS COMMITMENTS
- Distribute scholarship money to Disciple and UCC students at Chapman University.
- Acknowledge Partner Church gifts with a Thank You letters from students.
- Send out a monthly Partner Church newletter highlighting DOC events and students.
