Chancellor's Staff Advisory Committee

The Chancellor's Staff Advisory Committee (CSAC) is an advisory board to the university chancellor working to facilitate open lines of communication between the university's administration and staff.  CSAC, which consists of selected staff members from academic affairs units, was constituted to promote staff involvement and improve efficiency in operations within the university.  CSAC serves as a channel for staff to come together to discuss their ideas and concerns relating to staff life at Chapman and to propose action as needed.

The Chancellor's Staff Advisory Committee's primary goal is to contribute to the following:

• The academic excellence and distinction of the university
• The growth and welfare of the staff members within the Chancellor umbrella; and
• The promotion of a positive and supportive work environment.

New: Chapman Community Suggestion Box

The Chancellor's Staff Advisory Committee is pleased to announce the development of a new tool that will allow the Chapman community to make suggestions or ideas to improve the university.  The new Chapman Community Suggestion Box is open to all members of the Chapman community with the sole purpose of improving the quality of the Chapman experience and of building a sense of community.  Please use this link to offer your thoughts, ideas, and suggestions.

Please join your colleagues for breakfast as we get ready to begin the 2008-2009 academic year.  The purpose of this event is to create fun and informative event that will not only provide encouragement for our staff but will also inform them of upcoming changes.  As we did last year, we will be incorporating the Staff & Community Enhancement Grant and the Chancellor's Distinguished Staff Award.  This year's event is tentatively scheduled from 8:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. in the Bush Conference Center, Beckman Hall 404A.
