Arab 101 , 102 Elementary Modern Standard Arabic I, II Prerequisite for 102, C- in 101 or instructor’s consent. Mastery of basic vocabulary and structural patterns, pronunciation, and overview of geography and customs of the Arab world. Two hours per week of lab required. 3-3 credits.
