TEN PANTHERS RECOGNIZED FOR THEIR ACADEMIC ACHEIVEMENT

ORANGE, Calif. – Ten Chapman University water polo players have been recognized for their work in the classroom, earning All-Academic team honors from the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches. All 10 players honored have a GPA of 3.2 or higher and the Panthers have an impressive overall team GPA of 3.32.

A pair of freshmen, Lynette Fukuda and Christyn Takara, lead the way for Chapman academically with 3.86 and 3.81 GPA, respectively. They and junior team captain Haley Slusser (3.73 GPA) earned "Outstanding" honors with GPAs of 3.71 and higher.

Ariel Castle, Danielle Sher and sophomore All-American Jennifer Manship earned "Superior" honors with GPAs between 3.41 and 3.7.

Brittany Koski, Jessica McCullough, Natalie Iwasaki and Taylor Smith received "Excellent" honors with cumulative GPAs between 3.2 and 3.4.
