Although the Panthers haven’t played a game in over two weeks, the playoff tournaments had to be completed before it became official. Mulé’s 3.6 goals per game ranked him second in the nation. Mulé set another school record in 2007 with 104 goals and currently ranks third all-time in goals scored in Chapman history with 205 – just 32 shy of the record. For his record-breaking season, the sophomore was named to the all-conference team by the Western Water Polo Association, becoming the first men’s player in Chapman history to earn the award. Mulé finished the season with 13 assists and was second on the Panthers with 52 steals. Teammate Colin Gasper finished the season ranked No. 9 among goalies with 270 blocks. Gasper, a sophomore, fell just two saves shy of Chapman’s single-season record.
