ORANGE, Calif. – Chapman University sophomore Alex Mulé – who led all Divisions in goal scoring in 2006 – is at it once again. Mulé has scored 66 goals in 14 games and currently leads the nation in total goals scored. Mulé has also played in nine fewer games that the next closest player, who has 52 goals in 23 games. Mulé’s 4.7 goals per game average also ranks first in Division III. Sophomore Austin McElvaney ranks 50th with 20 goals this season. The Panthers as a team rank fourth in scoring average at 12.3 goals per game, right behind UCLA. Sophomore goalie Colin Gasper currently ranks third among all Divisions in goalie saves with 143, and averaging 10.2 blocks per game.
