Flynn-Brown led Chapman (21-5 overall) with 20.5 points per game and made 80 three-pointers during his senior season. He ranked in the top-35 in Division III in scoring, three-pointers and three-point percentage and set a Chapman (Division III) record for points in a single season. He scored 20 or more points in a game 16 times and helped Chapman to back-to-back West Region Independents Tournament titles. Flynn-Brown also finished his four-year career in February as one of just 13 players in school history with over 1,000 career points. The 23-year old becomes the second Chapman student-athlete to earn annual top honors from the Association of Division III Independents since the organization began handing out awards in 2003. Chapman baseball player Alex Taylor earned the inaugural award. The Association of Division III Independents consists of 25 Division III independent institutions that have joined together to recognize student-athletes at independent institutions, and to provide exempted postseason championship competition in nine sports in 2006-07. The Association recognizes outstanding athletic achievements of its student-athletes on a weekly, monthly and annual basis.
