FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
ORANGE, Calif. – For Chapman University men’s basketball star Josh Flynn-Brown, 2007 has already been a banner year. First the senior guard was recognized last month as the Association of Division III Independents men’s basketball Player of the Year. Next up, he’s set to graduate from Chapman in May with a bachelor’s degree in political science.
Last week, Flynn-Brown released his political commentary In Defense Of The President: One Student’s Journey to Simplify Conservative Truth, by AuthorHouse Publishing (Bloomington, Ind.). It is now available in paperback for public purchase. It is a passionate and (with no apologies) audacious look at the Bush administration and post-9/11 U.S. policies both domestically and internationally. Excerpt from the book’s introduction:
The senior is a pretty good basketball player, too. A native of Redondo Beach, this season Flynn-Brown became the first Chapman player in 16 years to average over 20 points per game. He led the Panthers with 20.5 points per game and made 80 three-pointers and helped Chapman to its best overall record since 1983-84 and a second straight West Region Independents Tournament titles. He ranked in the top-35 in Division III in scoring, three-pointers and three-point percentage and set a Chapman (Division III) record for points in a single season (533). He also finished his four-year career in February as one of just 13 players in school history with over 1,000 career points. Flynn-Brown’s personal website is now up and running at http://www.presidentdefense.com/. There you can find out more about the author, order the book and contact the author directly. In Defense Of The President is also currently available for purchase online at AuthorHouse.com: http://www.authorhouse.com/BookStore/ItemDetail~bookid~42220.aspx. The book is also available online at Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble.com and will be available in retail outlets later this month.
