EVERYONE GETS IN THE ACT AS PANTHERS WIN BY 34

ORANGE, Calif. – All 12 active players on the Chapman University men’s basketball roster scored at least two points as the Panthers defeated visiting West Coast Baptist College 91-57 at Hutton Center on Tuesday night. Chapman’s 34-point margin of victory is its highest this season. The Panthers’ 91 points were also a season high.

Four Panthers reached double figures in scoring, including three players who came off the bench: Brandt Bangs (13 points), Sean Vreeburg (12 points) and Justin Riley (10 points). Sophomore C Jared Kaiser scored 11 points and grabbed eight rebounds, while senior G Miguel Bennett was just one point shy of a double-double with nine points and a game-high 10 rebounds.

The win was the ninth in a row for Chapman (17-6) and seventh straight at home. The Panthers shot 62.1 percent from the field, just shy of their season-high.

For West Coast Baptist (8-10), Tommy Thorogood scored a team-high 12 points, including three three-pointers.
