ORANGE, Calif. – Chapman University defensive end Richard Dinh was named to the 2005 Football Gazette All-West Region team, marking the second time in his career he has earned the honor. Dinh finished second on the Panthers with 63 total tackles, including 24 solo tackles and six tackles for loss. The senior team captain was named as honorable mention after setting a career-high and ranking among the nation’s leaders for most of the season with four interceptions. He led the team with three blocked kicks and had four pass breakups. For the past 18 seasons, Football Gazette has chosen the nation’s best players for the NCAA Division III All-American teams. Don Hansen who devotes his career to small college football has produced the weekly publication since 1987.
