CHAPMAN’S OHAIL NAMED DIII INDEPENDENTS PLAYER OF THE WEEK

ORANGE, Calif. –  Chapman University sophomore first baseman Patrick Ohail has been selected as the Association of Division III Independents baseball Player of the Week.

In four games, including three in the Chapman Invitational tournament, Ohail batted .429 (6-for-14) with a pair of home runs and five RBI. After batting .500 in three games, he was named to the Chapman Invitational All-Tournament Team. The sophomore is batting .320 this season and ranks second on the team with 35 RBI. He has also played error-free defense all season.

Chapman won all three tournament games to improve to 30-5 overall and is currently ranked No. 2 in NCAA Div. III.
