NATIONAL COLLEGE ATHLETE HONOR SOCIETY ACCEPTS 32 CHAPMAN ATHLETES
ORANGE, Calif. – Chapman University had 32 student-athletes accepted into Chi Alpha Sigma, the National College Athlete Honor Society. Penny Brush, Chapman’s associate director of athletics and Faculty Athletics Representative Jon Kaplan nominated Chapman’s top juniors and seniors for induction into the society after the university recently joined the organization.
Chi Alpha Sigma is a nonprofit organization established to recognize college student athletes who earn a varsity letter in at least one sport while maintaining a 3.4 or higher cumulative GPA throughout their junior and senior years. Chapman is one of just five member schools in California.
Chapman’s new Chi Alpha Sigma members for the 2005-06 school year are:
