Erin J. Lastinger Athletics Complex (completion date: Spring '08)

The new complex will include the fully rebuilt 1,800-seat Ernie Chapman Stadium and Holly & David Wilson Field, constructed atop a new 900 capacity underground parking facility, Tom & Joan Riach Stadium Terrace and a state-of-the-art press box. The new Allred Aquatics Center and 600-seat Frank E. & Mary Ann O'Bryan Aquatics Stadium will house Chapman's aquatics programs. Neighboring it all will be the Baldwin Family Pavilion that will house coaches offices, the Jamie Case-Babson weight training room and classrooms.

Ernie Chapman Stadium (completion date: Spring '08)

This rebuilt 1,800 seat stadium will include locker rooms, laundry facilities, training room and a state-of-the-art press box. Chapman Stadium will house the Panthers' 21 team and club sports, as well as the intramurals program. It was re-named in 2000 after the son of the university's namesake,  Irvin "Ernie" C. Chapman, who played football at Chapman in the early 1930's.

 

Holly & David Wilson Field

In Fall 2006, Chapman became one of 30 colleges in the nation to use Field Turf - a synthetic artificial grass surface - on its home field. Wilson Field is home to Chapman's football, men's and women's soccer and men's (club) lacrosse teams, as well as the university's intramurals program and its physical activity classes. The field is circled by a state-of-the-art two-lane Mondo track.

Allred Aquatics Center (completion date: Spring '08)

Chapman's long awaited Olympic-sized pool is set to be complete very soon. The new center will stand back-to-back with Chapman Stadium and will include the Frank E. & Mary Ann O'Bryan Aquatics Stadium with seating for 600, a state-of-the-art treatment control system, equipment and storage rooms.

Baldwin Family Pavilion (completion date: Spring '08)

The Bill & Barbara Parker Atrium Lobby will warmly welcome you into the Baldwin Family Pavilion. It will feature brand-new coaches offices, the Jamie Case-Babson weight training room and classrooms overlooking the Allred Aquatics Center and Olympic Pool.

Harold Hutton Sports Center:

Built in 1978, the Hutton Center is home to Chapman's women's volleyball and men's and women's basketball teams, as well as intramurals. Since it has opened the women's volleyball team has made nine NCAA tournament appearances and the women's basketball team has made eight. The Panthers have hosted the NCAA's first round of women's basketball playoffs three years in a row (2002-04). Capacity: 2,400

W.O. Hart Park:

Located approximately one mile south of the Chapman campus, where Glassell St. meets the 22 Freeway, Hart Park has been home to the Panther baseball team since 1962 and the softball team since the program's inception in 1974. Hart is also the site of the Chapman-hosted Sun West Softball Tournament which features 40-plus small college schools competing each March. Capacity: 1,000

Orange High School Pool:

Located on the corner of Shafer St. and Walnut Ave. in Orange, Chapman's aquatics teams have been temporarily housed at the Orange High Pool until the Folino Aquatic Center is completed on the Chapman campus. Remodeled in 2002, the pool houses the Panthers' nationally ranked men's and women's water polo teams, as well as men's (club) and women's swimming.

Chapman Tennis Courts:

In the 1980's the Chapman tennis courts were home to some of the best tennis in Southern California, as the Panthers won three NCAA Division II national championships. In 2001, the courts were renovated and resurfaced and are currently host to Chapman's men's and women's tennis teams and physical education classes.

Robert & Marie Gray Collegiate Rowing Center:

Built as an addition to the Sea Scout Base in Newport Beach, this facility was finished in 2003 and includes two stories of storage for Chapman's men's (club) and women's crew and rowing teams overlooking beautiful Newport Harbor.

Tustin Ranch Golf Course:

This gem of Orange County courses is located approximately 8.5 miles south of the Chapman campus in Tustin. Chapman's men's golf team has played its home matches on this par-72 course since the mid-1990's and has hosted its annual Chapman Athletics Golf Tournament fundraiser there every May.

Julia Argyros Fitness Center:

The 4,000 square foot fitness center was completed in 2000 and provides a state-of-the-art training ground for Chapman Athletics teams, physical education classes, students and faculty and a variety of cardiovascular, circuit and free-weight training equipment.
