Carney has picked up right where he left off in 2003-04 and is shooting nearly 60 percent from behind the three-point line through Chapman's first three games this season. He is 10-for-17 (58.8 percent) from three-point range in those games. So far this season he is averaging 19.3 points and 3.3 three-pointers per game. The sophomore tied a career-high with 26 points versus Notre Dame de Namur in the Chapman Invitational. As a result, Carney was named to the All-Tournament team.
