Garand was a major contributor to Chapman volleyball's first playoff berth in seven years and first round upset over rival Colorado College. Her 41 assists in the three-game sweep over the Tigers added to her already record-breaking single-season total of 1,204 - a 10-year old mark that she broke by over 100 assists. After just two seasons at Chapman, Garand ranks second in Chapman's Division III history with 2,178 assists and she holds two of the top-four single-match assist totals.
