On ‘Senior Day’, Jeff set a new Chapman record with his 26th career victory over Redlands last Friday. The senior right-hander allowed just one run from Redlands and struck out six in the 8-1 Panther victory. The 2004 All-West Region selection ran his three-year record to 26-8 and has a 2.39 career earned run average. This season, Jeff has truly gotten stronger as the season has progressed, winning his past three starts and lowering his season ERA by a full run in his last 24 innings, from 3.79 to 2.74. He has also thrown 52 strikeouts in 62.1 innings pitched.
