It didn’t take long for Kim to make a name for herself following in brother, Brian’s footsteps as a standout athlete for the Panthers. Kim transferred to Chapman this year, wanting to be closer to home after a year at the University of Tennessee and has put up numbers that rival those that big brother put up during Chapman’s 2003 baseball championship season. The sophomore was 3-for-3 with a home run in game one of the Chapman double-header sweep against Bethany College on Saturday. Overall, she batted in three runs bringing her season RBI total to 24, which ranks third on the team. Kim is hitting third on the team with a .365 average, including eight doubles, helping the Panthers to a 30-6 record. |
