Laura has already proved she is the fastest woman in Chapman history, setting the school record in the 100-meter dash (12.85 at Azusa Pacific) as a freshman in 2002. Since then she has been nothing but consistent. The senior returned to Azusa – the scene of her school record – on April 9 and ran a season-best 13.36 in the 100-meters, eclipsing her previous season-best of 13.44 at San Diego State in March. Two weeks earlier, Laura earned her season-high in the 200-meters with a time of 28.10 at U.C. San Diego.
