The junior guard has picked up right where she left off last year, when she led the team in scoring and was named to the All-Independent team. Hayman has scored in double digits in all 10 of Chapman’s games this year, including 20 points in a 72-47 win over Redlands on Saturday. She was one rebound shy of a double-double, pulling down nine boards for the Panthers. Hayman also scored 11 points on Thursday when the Panthers defeated La Verne in a rematch of last year’s epic overtime playoff victory. Hayman leads the 9-1 Panthers in scoring (15.7 ppg) and minutes (26.8) and has 21 steals for a team that forces over 28 opponent turnovers per game.
