The senior guard has emerged as a leader off the bench this year for the Panthers. After playing only 16 minutes all of last season, Bangs has played in all seven games and leads the Panthers with 11 three-pointers and is shooting .611 beyond the arc. He helped the Panthers to a third-place finish in the Lee Fulmer Memorial Tournament in Redlands by scoring 11 points, grabbing three rebounds and recording one assist in the Panthers 66-40 victory in the third-place game over Pomona-Pitzer. He also scored a career-high 15 points with five three-pointers in a close 58-56 loss to Redlands. Chapman is currently 5-2 overall.
