For the first time this season it was Marty who got the call to lead the Chapman offense on Saturday. The junior took advantage of the opportunity by throwing for 326 yards and one touchdown for the Panthers in a decisive 37-8 victory over the visiting Claremont Colleges. It was the second time in his career that Marty has thrown for over 300 yards and only the fifth time it’s been done in Chapman history. He also had five completions of 30 yards or more, including a 32-yard touchdown pass. Marty now leads the team in passing yards (648), touchdowns (3), completion percentage (64.3) and efficiency rating (150.5). The Panthers host Whittier this Saturday at Wilson Field.
