The libero/defensive specialist shattered the single-season digs record last year as a freshman and is well on her way to breaking that record this season. In just seven matches, Ly has already recorded 177 digs, an average of 7.08 digs per game. For comparison, Ly set another CU record with 5.22 digs per game in 2006. She has earned 30 or more digs three times and her defense was a key factor in the Panthers' upset victory over nationally-ranked Cal State East Bay on Friday. The Panthers also swept Whittier and Occidental at home last week and are currently 3-4 on the season.
