ERIN DUDZINSKI Softball
Even on an off-day, when she went 0-for-4 in two games against Redlands, the leadoff hitter still managed to reach base three times - all on walks - last Saturday. In fact, the junior is getting on base at a pace Chapman hasn't seen since hall of famer Stephanie Carew was getting intentionally walked every other time up. Dudzinski leads the 10th-ranked Panthers with a .533 on-base percentage, including 26 walks, but that's not all. She also leads the team in runs, hits, doubles, home runs, RBI, slugging and stolen bases. And for good measure, the 5 ft. 2 in. Dudzinski hasn't committed an error in 32 chances in centerfield. For her career, the 2007 All-American is just two doubles (37) and two stolen bases (39) shy of Chapman's career records.
