KELLEY FOX Women's Tennis
The future of Chapman women's tennis looks bright with the rookie 1-2 punch of freshmen Liz Lewis and Kelley Fox. Fox serves as the Panthers' No. 2 seed in singles play and has compiled a 13-5 overall record this season, including a 6-0, 6-1 win in Chapman's win against Cal Lutheran on Friday - her sixth straight victory. The freshman earned a No. 17 regional ranking in March and has lost just one match since then. Not only that, but Lewis and Fox have combined for a 13-7 record in doubles play this season, currently ranking No. 4 in the West Region heading into next week's Ojai Valley Tournament. The Panthers finished the regular season with a 12-6 mark, their best since 2001.
