She's a two-time All-West Region first team selection, yet Winford might have saved the best for last. The senior is on one of the best streaks of her career having allowed just one earned run in her last 22 2/3 innings of work, while winning four straight games. The right-hander currently accounts for five of Chapman's six wins this season (5-1) with a 0.71 earned run average. Meanwhile, Winford's 5-0 shutout against Concordia on Saturday was her third of the season and she has struck out 38 batters in 38.1 innings overall. That's seven more strikeouts than she had all of last season. When opponents do manage to get the bat on the ball, they are hitting just .167 against her.
