Ly was named tournament MVP in the Tiger/Panther Tournament over the New Year’s Eve holiday, helping the Panthers to a 2-0 record and extending Chapman’s 22-game home winning streak. Ly scored 15 points in Chapman’s 68-54 win over Monmouth (Ill.) on Sunday and added three assists in the game. She is currently tied for second on the team in scoring this season with 10.9 points per game. She’s also helped the Panthers to a 12-3 record by ranking second on the team with 38 assists and 29 steals.
