The sophomore point guard showed no ill-effects from her one year absence to recover from knee surgery. Lauren nearly earned a triple-double in Chapman's season-opening victory over St. Thomas (Minn.) with 16 points, nine assists and nine steals. The Panthers placed second at the Redlands Tournament last weekend and Kamiyama was named to the All-Tournament team, averaging 14 points and 7.5 assists per game.
