SEAN WARD Football
The senior safety has been forcing opponent turnovers all season, ranked among the top-20 in Division III in forced fumbles. However, it was his first career interception that was the game-breaker in Chapman's 35-12 season-ending victory over La Verne on Saturday. Ward returned the interception 63 yards for a touchdown, opening up a 21-12 lead early in the fourth quarter. Ward wasn't done there. He made another interception later in the quarter, which led to another Panther touchdown. The senior led the team in 2006 with 69 total tackles, including 34 solo.
