Athlete of the WeekOctober 17, 2006
The sophomore missed the Panthers' first 11 matches with an injury, but has sparked the team since her return. Chapman was won seven of the eight matches Felger has played in. Not surprisingly, the 2005 All-America selection has reestablished herself as an offensive and defensive presence, earning double-digits in kills in each of her past five matches and ranks second on the team in hitting percentage (.333). Her 17 kills against Susquehanna (Pa.) on Saturday helped the Panthers to their fifth straight win. She has also recorded 16 blocks in her first eight matches, good enough for third on the team. |
