The Chapman University baseball team concluded the regular season in style, winning eight in a row including a three-game sweep over rival George Fox (Ore.). So did senior Tyler Dean, who batted .500 in the weekend series, with a home run, two doubles and four RBI. His solo homer on 'Senior Day' helped Chapman overcome a 4-0 deficit to win 10-5. Dean will graduate this month among the top-five in school history in runs, hits, RBI and stolen bases. His 16 career homers rank seventh at Chapman. The Panthers finished 35-5 and will likely be the No. 1 seed in the regional playoffs beginning May 16.
