Edna has turned in some of her best strokes this month, while gearing up for the Pacific Coast Championships in Belmont in February. The sophomore captured first place in five of her six events against Caltech and Southwestern two weeks ago, including two individual victories in the 1000-yard freestyle and the 200-yard backstroke. She then showed off her range of skills with a second place finish in the 100-yard butterfly against Biola on Saturday, finishing just three seconds off the Chapman record.
