Dan scored the game-winning goal in overtime on Saturday to give Chapman a win 1-0 over Cal State East Bay in its season finale. The junior midfielder scored his third goal in eight days off a rebound he kicked past the East Bay goalie 6:44 into the overtime period. Less than 24 hours earlier, Dan recorded the only goal for the Panthers against No. 10 U.C. Santa Cruz and began his hot streak with another goal against Alliant International on Oct. 28. His final week outburst propelled him into the team lead this season with nine points and he finished tied for first on the team with four goals.
