In Saturday’s 1-1 game against Colorado College, forward Danny Aviles scored the game-winning goal with less than six minutes remaining on the clock. The game-winner came as an upset to the independent rival, who is ranked among the top teams in the West Region and entered the game with just one loss this season. This was the second goal of the season for the junior and snapped the three-game losing streak for the Panthers. Currently Danny’s two goals are tied for the team lead in scoring, which is no surprise because he also led the team in scoring in 2003 as a freshman.
