It was an eventful first week of the season for Lambert. On Friday, she scored the game-winning goal in the 81st minute in a 3-2 win over Whitman (Wash.) at the Whitworth Invitational tournament. On Saturday, she moved into sixth place in Chapman history with 62 career points, scoring the Panthers only goal in a 1-1 tie with Whitworth and helping Chapman clinch the tournament title. Then on Wednesday, for good measure, Lambert scored the game-winning goal in double-overtime in a 2-1 win over Cal Lutheran. Lambert leads the Panthers (2-0-1) with three goals and six points in three games.
