Men's Tennis

Surfas was one of just two Chapman tennis players selected to play at the Ojai Valley Tournament last weekend and advanced to the field of 32, losing to eventual champion Matt Seeberger from U.C. Santa Cruz. The junior then partnered with All-American teammate Robert Chu to reach the quarterfinals in the doubles tournament at Ojai. Surfas finished the season with a 13-7 record in singles, ranking second on the team in wins. He also won 12 doubles matches with four different partners in 2006.
