Since the senior became the first Chapman golfer in five years to record a below-par score in a match on March 9, he has not slowed down. He placed in the top-10 at the Cal Lutheran Kingsmen Invite at La Purisma Golf Course in Lompoc two weeks ago and was one of the team's top two finishers in a loss to Pomona-Pitzer last week, where he shot a 76 at Tustin Ranch. Gahan's 71 at Los Serranos Golf Course (Pomona-Pitzer) last month was 3-under for the course - a career-best and he is averaging just 1.6 strokes over-par in six dual matches this season.
