Additionally, a JD/MBA degree is offered in combination with the Chapman University School of Law.
The Master of Business Administration is a sophisticated program designed to give students the skills they need to succeed as business leaders. Combining a strong theoretical foundation with applied skills training in finance, economics, marketing, management, information technology and statistics, the program also stresses effective leadership and communication techniques. The result—ethical, strategic leaders who excel at putting ideas to work.
The Executive MBA offers mid-to-senior level executives the chance to improve their mastery of business in 21 months without interrupting their careers. Offering a comprehensive curriculum encompassing finance, accounting, marketing, economics, information systems, management, international business and strategy, the program not only stresses theoretical knowledge but also practical business applications. Students benefit from discussion-based learning where both students and faculty draw on their professional experiences to address real business issues. Chapman EMBA graduates leave with an integrated vision of business and an ability to become leaders in their own organizations.
The JD/MBA program, offered in conjunction with the ABA accredited Chapman University School of Law, allows students to earn both the JD and MBA degrees. Offered to full-time students, the program requires four years of study. Students interested in this program must submit separate applications and meet the admission requirements of each school. The JD/MBA program gives students the opportunity to obtain two highly marketable professional degrees more expeditiously than pursuing the degrees separately.
The Integrated Five-Year Undergraduate MBA Program is offered to undergraduate students who have completed 75 units or more of their undergraduate coursework with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher and who have received a GMAT score of at least 580. Admitted students take nine credit hours of MBA coursework in the spring of their senior year and will have an internship opportunity between their senior year and MBA year.
The Joint MBA/MFA in Film and Television Producing, offered in conjunction with the Lawrence and Kristina Dodge College of Film and Media Arts, is a joint program leading to both an MBA degree and an MFA in Film and Television Producing degree. Offered to full-time students, the program requires three years of study and acceptance to both the Argyros School of Business and Economics and the Dodge College of Film and Media Arts. The MBA/MFA in Film and Television Producing gives students the opportunity to obtain two highly marketable professional degrees designed for individuals seeking a management or executive level position at a production company, talent agency, studio, or television network.
