Mentor Program

Through a number of planned events and informal interaction between Mentor Business Associates and MBAs during a full academic year, students gain valuable insight to professional success whether entrepreneurial or Fortune 500, public or private, regional or global. The frequency and format of the Mentor-Mentee interaction is mutually agreed upon and committed to through a Partnership Agreement, at the outset of the program. The goals of the Mentor Business Associates Program are to:

• Enhance the professional and personal development of the student (mentee) by the sharing of experiences and insights of the Mentor Business Associate
  
• Provide for a variety of interactions between Mentor Business Associate and student over a specified time period, allowing the student to “learn” from a successful and experienced business leader
  
• Assist in the formulation of realistic short and long-term career goals by identifying specific steps the student can take toward achieving those goals
  
• Provide an avenue for the Mentor Business Associate to contribute to the development and success of future leaders and innovators preparing for the global workplace of the 21st century
