Alexis is currently charged with the design and implementation of programs and services that will assist MBA and EMBA candidates with their career management program. She is also responsible for outreach initiatives to the Orange County business community as well as developing stronger networks with alumni of the MBA and EMBA program.

Before returning to Chapman in 2006 to open the newly funded MBA Career Management Center in the Argyros School of Business and Economics, Alexis spent 12 years managing corporate staffing, recruitment, and college relations departments for leading financial services and high-tech companies. These companies included First Interstate Bank in Los Angeles, California and Hewlett Packard in Boise, Idaho. In addition to her private sector experience, Alexis also co-owned a consulting firm in Long Beach, California which specialized in developing emergency preparedness plans for Fortune 500 companies located in southern California. Her career has also included other positions in higher education. During the 1990’s Alexis was the MBA Career Services Director at University of Oregon’s Lundquist School of Business. She has also held positions as special consultant to the California State University Chancellor’s Office as well as a local non-profit.
