It takes a dedicated student to work three jobs and maintain a decent GPA at a private college. Adrienne Brennan ’84 managed to do just that during her first two years at the Orange campus before transferring to Chapman’s former campus in Westwood, continuing her education, and putting herself through graduate school as a police officer with the L.A.P.D. Her hard work truly paid off, however, and Adrienne eventually obtained an M.A. in counseling psychology. Working the “beat” was only the beginning of Adrienne’s whirlwind career. She was also a founding officer of the internationally renowned D.A.R.E. program. As an entrepreneur, Adrienne launched The Professional Image, a successful marketing and advertising company; a company she sold and still operates today. She also created a line of cosmetics and has sold it to a national shopping network. Adrienne now works with Coldwell Banker, Previews International, in Newport Beach as a “top producer” in residential real estate. Adrienne is committed to her alma mater, and has been a member of the Fashionable Women of Chapman for more than 20 years, serving as president for two. Adrienne plans to use her “connections and ability to network” to further the progress of the Alumni Association. Adrienne lives in Corona del Mar with her son, Patrick Ryan, who is a college student. |
