Christopher BaiocchiMember-at-Large Class: 1998 Degree: BA Major: English Term Expires: 5/31/10 A dedicated and serious student, Chris Baiocchi ’98 was a member of the Leadership Honors Society Omicron Delta Kappa, the Gamma Beta Phi Honors Society, the English honors society Sigma Tau Delta, assistant and coordinator of the Orientation program, editor-in-chief of the Panther newspaper, as well as a member of the campus Neumann Fellowship, a Catholic fellowship organization. Following his graduation, he served on the PR Advisory Committee, using his skills in journalism to help raise the visibility of Chapman University and its importance in the community. Having previously served on the Alumni Association Board of Directors, Chris brings a long history of service to his current term. Chris is involved with the St. Joseph Hospital Foundation, which helps to raise funds in support of St. Joseph Hospital programs and services. Through his significant professional experience with annual giving programs, Chris may introduce future donors to the University, while sharing information about Chapman’s growth and development. Chris states that as he progresses through his professional life, he is continually reminded of the tremendous value of his education and all that his experiences at Chapman have allowed him to accomplish. His strong sense of altruism and philanthropy will certainly be appreciated by the generations of students, parents, and alumni whose lives are forever changed through the work of the Alumni Association. Chris is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, the Association of Healthcare Philanthropy, and volunteers his time as a Sunday school teacher at San Francisco Solano Church. He is happily married to Chapman alumna Jennifer (Beattie) Baiocchi '97. |
