Doug Willits earned his BA in Communication at Chapman University in 1972.  Immediately afterward, he served as director of Audio Visual Services for Chapman University’s World Campus Afloat.

In 1974, Doug became an Account Executive to the Filmgate Company, before joining City of Orange, California, Public Information Office in 1976, acting as liaison between the public and City Administrators.  In this capacity, he also produced public relations and training media for the City of Orange Police and Fire Departments.  In 1978, Doug entered the Electronics Industry as a Product Sales Engineer with Laminating Company of America (L.C.O.A.), before becoming one of the founding officers of Circuit Product West (CPW) in 1982.  In 1991, He formed Pacific Circuit Supply (PCS) and became its first President and CEO.  He was also the CEO of G2A (Group 2 Associates, Inc.), a company involved in commercial and residential real estate valuation, sales, and development. Doug currently works with Ricci Realty in Orange.

Doug is an officer for the Chapman Board of Governors, and also sits on the Board of the City of Orange Public Library Foundation.  He is married and resides in Orange.  His wife, Susie (Derby) Willits, earned her BA in 1971 at Chapman University.  His son, Ben, earned his BFA in 2002, and his daughter, Kelsey, earned her JD in 2002.
