Ronald Steiner, Ph.D Dr. Ronald Steiner, former Associate Professor of Political Science Dr. Steiner earned his Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota, where he was named a Hubert H. Humphrey Scholar, and his J.D. from the University of Southern California, where he graduated Order of the Coif. For many years, Dr. Steiner coordinated Chapman University’s Washington DC Internship Program. He continues to establish strong relationships with students and works to maintain those connections after graduation. In early 2006, Dr. Steiner gave a presentation to the Board of Trustees highlighting students who have gone on to promising professional careers within the government, including fellow Board of Directors member Robert Diaz ’95. He also received the Alumni Association’s Faculty Member of the Year award of 2007 due to his long history of dedication to his students, colleagues, and the Chapman community. Additionally, he is the winner of a number of other teaching awards, including two Awards for Outstanding Teaching in Political Science by the American Political Science Association for 2005 and 2007. Throughout his career, Dr. Steiner has worked unceasingly to remain a continual advocate for both students and alumni, and he wishes to bring this experience to enrich the Alumni Association Board of Directors. |
