David B. Moore As director of Alumni and Parent Relations, David Moore is an ex-officio member of the Chapman Alumni Association Board of Directors. Although he didn't find out about Chapman University in time to earn his undergraduate degree, he's now working on a master's degree in Organizational Leadership. David arrived Chapman University in 2004 with more than ten years of progressive responsibility in alumni relations, annual giving and major gifts. Since arriving he has been actively working with the Alumni Association Board of Directors to implement a 5-year strategic plan that increases the visibility of the Alumni Association, enhances the quality and variety of programs offered to alumni, and creates professional networking opportunities for students and alumni. Among his early initiatives was to create the Chapman Alumni Connection, a popular monthly e-newsletter that highlights alumni benefits, special events, campus news and giving opportunities. David maintains an open door policy that encourages alumni to contact him with their questions, comments, concerns and ideas. In addition to the Chapman Alumni Association, David and his staff work with other volunteer groups sponsored through the Alumni and Parent Relations including the Chapman Parent Council, Grandparents Club, Ambassador Program and Senior Class Committee. |
