Cherie graduated from Chapman University in 1965 with a
BA in Education.  She was involved in Beta Chi and served
as president during her senior year.  Her mother was in Beta
Chi when she was a student.  Her father was on the Board
of Trustees; therefore, she attended many events on campus while growing up.  Both of her sons, Travis and Jason Hull,
are Chapman University graduates.

Since attending Chapman, she has taught junior high for several years, and worked one-on-one doing educational therapy at Whittier Christian High School with high school students who had learning disabilities.  After doing that for almost eighteen years (and loving it) she is now retired.  Aside from her participation in the Alumni Board, she also serves on the YMCA Youth and Government Board.

Cherie was excited about being asked to serve on the Alumni Board; “because I wanted to get involved with the University in some way.”  Her son, Jason Hull, also serves on the Board.
