PR guru Rebecca Hall ’96 jump-started her career not long after donning her cap and gown to claim her BA in Business Communications at the Orange Campus. A committed student and active sorority member, Rebecca cultivated her people
skills on campus by joining Alpha Phi and participating in Disciples on Campus (DOC), an organization she continues to support. She is also a 3rd-generation Panther: her grandmother attended the university and her mother worked on campus.

Rebecca is a supportive alumna, appearing as a guest lecturer at Chapman and serving as the President of the Alumni Board of Directors as well as on Chapman’s PR Advisory Board and Advisor to the Roger C. Hobbs Institute for Real Estate, Law and Environment. Outside of Chapman, she serves on the Board of Directors for Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), a non-profit that advocates for abused children. Her innumerable talents in the field of public relations and integrated marketing are a welcome source of inspiration for Chapman: she is accredited in PR by the Public Relations Society of America and founded her own agency, Idea Hall, in 2003.  Rebecca and her team specialize in media relations and integrated marketing campaigns to develop and implement international, national and local public relations/marketing programs, image-building campaigns, and new product introductions for a variety of industries. She is a nationally-recognized PR and marketing professional with a penchant for giving back to her alma mater: she nominated Chapman for the PRSA’s Distinguished Service Award for an Orange County organization in 2003, and presented the award to President Doti herself. For her unflagging dedication to furthering the successes of others in the Chapman community and beyond, Rebecca was awarded Chapman’s Young Alumnus of the Year Award in 2004, and continues to provide an energetic, motivated perspective to the Alumni Association.
