For students who choose to major or minor in religious studies, the department offers a broad range of courses and much individual mentoring to enable students to excel in their careers and meet the challenges of life after Chapman. A major or minor in religious studies is excellent preparation for graduate school in many fields, from higher education to the ministry to law and for careers in many areas from business to government. Pre-ministerial students who have chosen to major in another department are encouraged to select among several recommended courses in religious studies to prepare them for their seminary studies.
